JUSTUS DESCRIPTION: THE JUSTUS PROJECT INCLUDES AN AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL MONOLOGUE WORKSHOP WITH FORMERLY INCARCERATED COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND IMPACTFUL THEATER PERFORMANCES. PERFORMANCES ALSO INCLUDE LEGISLATORS, LAW ENFORCEMENT, AND GRANT MAKERS CO-READING THE STORIES OF THE FORMERLY INCARCERATED MONOLOGISTS.

UNDOCUAMERICA DESCRIPTION: IMMIGRANT LEADERS WITH DACA STATUS PRESENT ARTFUL AUTOBIGRAPHICAL MONOLOGUES ABOUT THE CHALLENGES FACING THE UNDOCUMENTED COMMUNITY & THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF IMMIGRANTS. THE PROJECT IS ONE OF VERY FEW IN THE U.S. IN WHICH IMMIGRANTS WITH DACA STATUS PERFORM THEIR OWN STORIES & ARE FEATURED AS PROTAGONISTS. VISUAL ARTS EXHIBITS FEATURING MONOLOGISTS & THEIR STORIES AT PERFORMING ARTS VENUES, LIBRARIES, & SCHOOLS EXPAND THE REACH OF THE STORIES.


TRANSFORMATIVE STORIES DESCRIPTION: TRANSFORMATIVE STORIES AUTOBIAGRAPHICAL MONLOGUES ENCOMPASS TRANSGENDER AND NONBINARY LEADERS PRESENTING ARTFULLY CRAFTED PERSONAL STORIES ABOUT THEIR HOPES, DREAMS, AND EXPERIENCES OF NEGOTIATING OPPRESSION AND LIBERATION.
