EXPERTS IN THE FIELD OF PALLIATIVE MEDICINE AND END-OF-LIFE CARE ARE FEATURED WITH CONTENT THEYVE WRITTEN APPEALING TO THE GENERAL CONSUMER BASE. TO INCREASE THE RANGE OF SERVICE TO THE LATINO COMMUNITY, CDF CONTINUES TO PROMOTE THE SPANISH VERSION OF PLANNING MY WAY. THE ADVANCE CARE PLANNING PROJECT OF CDF IS IN COLLABORATION WITH ROBERT PEARLMAN, MD, MPH, AND MELISSA BOTTRELL, MPH, PH.D. IT NOW PROVIDES FREE CONSUMER-ORIENTED PRINT AND DIGITAL MATERIALS TO HELP INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN THE LATINO SPANISH-SPEAKING COMMUNITY TO THINK ABOUT, LEARN AND COMMUNICATE WHAT MATTERS MOST AS THEY CONTEMPLATE BOTH LEGAL AND SUPPORTING FUTURE HEALTH CARE DIRECTIVES.CUNNIFF-DIXON FOUNDATIONS LONG-RUNNING AWARDS PROGRAM EXPANDED IN 2022 AND INCLUDED 9 AWARDEES WITH THE ADDITION OF TWO HONORS. THE RICHARD PAYNE LEADERSHIP AWARD, THE SIXTH PHYSICIANS AWARD PRESENTED BY THE FOUNDATION, WAS CREATED TO RECOGNIZE EXEMPLARY PHYSICIANS WHO WORK WITH VULNERABLE OR UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS IN THE FIELD OF PALLIATIVE MEDICINE AND END-OF-LIFE CARE. IN ADDITION, A NURSING AWARD WAS CREATED TO RECOGNIZE OUTSTANDING INPATIENT-OUTPATIENT PALLIATIVE CARE PROVIDED BY THREE NURSES IN THE FIELD.
