INNOVATIVE FINANCE/PEACE RENEWABLE ENERGY CREDIT (P-REC): EPP HAS DEVELOPED THE P-REC TO CONNECT SUSTAINABILITY-DRIVEN CORPORATE RENEWABLE ENERGY INVESTMENT WITH NEW RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS IN FRAGILE, ENERGY POOR COUNTRIES, AS A MEANS TO SUPPORT NEW FINANCING AND PROJECT DEVELOPMENT.


RESEARCH AND ADVOCACY/POWERING PEACE: EPP WORKS TO DEMONSTRATE AND HIGHLIGHT THE POTENTIAL FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY TO SERVE AS A CLIMATE-SENSITIVE TOOL FOR PEACEBUILDING THROUGH THE POWERING PEACE INITIATIVE, WHICH FOCUSES ON THE TRANSFORMATION OF ENERGY SYSTEMS IN UNITED NATIONS PEACEKEEPING OPERATIONS.


PEACE IMPACTS OF RENEWABLE ENERGY: THIS PROGRAM IS FOCUSED ON GATHERING EVIDENCE IN SUPPORT OF OUR THESIS BY QUANTIFYING THE SOCIAL AND PEACE IMPACTS OF P- REC SUPPORTED RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS, USING AN IMPACT MEASUREMENT FRAMEWORK DEVELOPED BY EPP.
