GBI EDUCATES ITS COMMUNITY ON GREEN BUILDING PRACTICES THROUGH PROGRAMS THAT ENCOURAGE SUSTAINABLE, HEALTHY, AND RESILIENT FEATURES AND OPERATIONAL PRACTICES IN COMMERCIAL AND MULTIFAMILY BUILDINGS.ADDITIONALLY, GBI SUPPORTS FEDERAL HIGH PERFORMANCE BUILDING REQUIREMENTS THROUGH CUSTOM ASSESSMENT PROGRAMS, SUCH AS THE GUIDING PRINCIPLES COMPLIANCE PROGRAMS FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION AND EXISTING BUILDINGS. THROUGH ITS GREEN GLOBES JOURNEY TO NET ZERO PROGRAM, GBI PROVIDES BUILDING OWNERS WITH A TRANSPARENT PROCESS TO EVALUATE RENEWABLE ENERGY STRATEGIES AND THEIR IMPACT ON ENERGY AND CARBON EMISSION REDUCTION STRATEGIES TOWARD THE GOAL OF REACHING NET ZERO.
