NARRATIVE & COMMUNICATIONS: WE CONNECT OUR PARTNERS WITH POLICYMAKERS, ELECTED OFFICIALS, PHILANTHROPISTS, AND CORPORATIONS READY TO SCALE, JUST CLIMATE SOLUTIONS. WE PROVIDE COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT FOR GRANTEE PARTNERS TO AMPLIFY THEIR WORK. WE ALSO LEVERAGE OUR RELATIONSHIPS WITH ESTABLISHED ARTISTS AND ENTERTAINERS, CORPORATIONS, AND THE MEDIA TO AMPLIFY GROUND-UP EFFORTS. WE PROVIDE COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT FOR GRANTEE PARTNERS TO AMPLIFY THEIR WORK.


GRANTMAKING: OUR FIGHTER FUND GRANT PROGRAM PROVIDES FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATIONS IMPROVING LIVES IN COMMUNITIES FACING THE CLIMATE CRISIS.THE SOLUTIONS PROJECT CO-DEVELOPED THREE UNIQUE FUNDS TO SUPPORT INNOVATION IN THE CLIMATE JUSTICE MOVEMENT: JUSTICE 40 ACCELERATOR, COMMUNICATING OUR POWER, AND FUND FOR FRONTLINE POWER.THE JUSTICE40 ACCELERATOR WAS DESIGNED TO INCREASE ACCESS AND CAPACITY TO DRAW DOWN FUNDING FOR FRONTLINE GROUPS ELIGIBLE FOR NEW FEDERAL INVESTMENTS. THE SOLUTIONS PROJECT PARTNERED WITH ELEVATE, GROUNDSWELL, HUMMINGBIRD FIRM, AND PARTNERSHIP FOR SOUTHERN EQUITY TO MANAGE THE JUSTICE40 ACCELERATOR FUNDS. IN 2022, THE SOLUTIONS PROJECT FACILITATED $1,347,500 IN GRANTS TO 49 GRANTEES FOR THE JUSTICE40 ACCELERATOR.FUND FOR FRONTLINE POWER WAS CREATED TO ACCELERATE THE FLOW OF CAPITAL, LAND STEWARDSHIP, AND RESOURCES TO GRASSROOTS CLIMATE JUSTICE ORGANIZATIONS. FULLY GOVERNED BY 13 FRONTLINE LEADERS, IT IS A $10 MILLION FUND SUPPORTING THE CRITICAL CLIMATE JUSTICE SOLUTIONS. THE SOLUTIONS PROJECT PARTNERED WITH CLIMATE JUSTICE ALLIANCE AND EDGE FUNDS NETWORK TO MANAGE THE FUND FOR FRONTLINE POWER FUNDS. THE SOLUTIONS PROJECT FACILITATED $140,000 IN PASS THROUGH FUNDS TO 13 GRANTEES IN 2022.COMMUNICATING OUR POWER IS DEDICATED FUNDING FOR COMMUNICATIONS STAFF AND NARRATIVE FELLOWSHIP PARTICIPATION. THE SOLUTIONS PROJECT COLLABORATES WITH CENTER FOR STORY-BASED STRATEGY AND CLIMATE JUSTICE ALLIANCE TO MANAGE THE COMMUNICATING OUR POWER FUNDS. THE SOLUTIONS PROJECT FACILITATED $2M IN GRANTS TO 20-GRANTEES TO SUPPORT THIS PROGRAM.
