INITIATED AND IMPLEMENTED SOCIAL SUPPORT NETWORKS FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH BRAIN INJURY THROUGH FACILITATION OF OUR WEEKLY AND MONTHLY SUPPORT GROUPS AND ACTIVITIES THAT FOSTER A SENSE OF BELONGING, COMMUNITY, AND PURPOSE. (200 HOURS, UNREIMBURSED/PRO-BONO) ADVOCATED FOR AND SUPPORTED SENATE BILL 420, THE DEVELOPMENT OF A RESOURCE NAVIGATION DEPARTMENT, FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH BRAIN INJURIES. PARTNERED WITH ADULTS WITH BRAIN INJURIES TO NAVIGATE THROUGH THE COMPLEXITY OF GOVERNMENT AND NON-GOVERNMENT RESOURCES NECESSARY AND ENTITLED TO WHICH WERE UNKNOWN TO THE POPULATION SERVED. (200 HOURS) PROVIDED INDIVIDUAL ONGOING EMOTIONAL, FUNCTIONAL, ADL SUPPPORT FOR THE COMMUNITY OF PEOPLE LIVING WITH BRAIN INJURIES WHO WE SERVE. COMPLETED OUR FIRST YEAR OF OFFERING ONE-OF-A-KIND THERAPEUTIC GROUPS FOR NEURODIVERGENT TWEENS TO PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING OF NEURODIVERGENCE, SELF- ADVOCACY, CONFIDENCE-BUILDING, CIRCLES OF SAFETY, AND BUILDING SKILLS FOR SELF-REGULATION. COMPLETED OUR FIRST YEAR OF OFFERING ONE-OF-A-KIND CLUBHOUSE FOR NEURODIVERGENT TWEENS TO BUILD COMMUNITY, CONNECTION, AND EXPLORE PREFERRED INTERESTS TOGETHER.
