CLIMATE CHANGEMAKERS PREPARED DOZENS OF ONLINE RESOURCES AND HOSTED WEEKLY EVENTS ON ZOOM, WHERE PARTICIPANTS ADVOCATED IN SUPPORT OF POLICIES THAT ADDRESS CLIMATE CHANGE TO THE US CONGRESS, THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH, AND STATE AND LOCAL OFFICIALS. SOME EVENTS AND RESOURCES DIRECTED USERS TO CONTACT THEIR REPRESENTATIVES AND SENATORS; OTHERS DIRECTED USERS TO CONTACT "KEY STAKEHOLDERS" IN THE POLICY-MAKING PROCESS, SUCH AS BANKS, COMMERCIAL ASSOCIATIONS, OR ENERGY AGENCIES; OTHER EVENTS AND RESOURCES DIRECTED USERS TO SUBMIT PUBLIC COMMENTS TO FEDERAL AGENCIES, SUCH AS THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY; OTHERS DIRECTED USERS TO CONTACT INFLUENCERS AND THE MEDIA. CLIMATE CHANGEMAKERS ALSO PLAYED A CONVENING ROLE, BRINGING TOGETHER POLICYMAKERS TO DISCUSS COMMON GROUND ON ENVIRONMENTAL PRIORITIES.

AT THE DIRECTION OF CLIMATE CHANGEMAKERS, VOLUNTEERS CALLED, TEXTED, AND WROTE LETTERS TO VOTERS IN THE CANDIDATES' DISTRICTS, RAISED FUNDS FOR THEIR CAMPAIGNS, RAISED AWARENESS ABOUT THESE CANDIDATES ON SOCIAL MEDIA, AND RAISED FUNDS FOR NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN THEIR DISTRICT.
