EARTHSHARE NORTH CAROLINA'S PURPOSE IS TO BRING MORE PEOPLE AND RESOURCES TO THE CONSERVATION MOVEMENT AND SPECIFICALLY TO ITS MEMBER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WORKING FOR THE HEALTH OF NC'S NATURAL RESOURCES: THE BACKBONE OF OUR HEALTH, ECONOMY, AND QUALITY OF LIFE.

EARTHSHRE NORTH CAROLINA PARTNERS WITH WORKPLACES ACROSS THE STATE TO CONNECT EMPLOYEES WITH THE WORK OF OVER 80 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, RESULTING IN NEW PHILANTHROPIC AND VOLUNTEER SUPPORT. THROUGH WORKPLACE GIVING AND ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS, EMPLOYEES LEARN ABOUT AND HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT ENVIRONMENTAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS FOR OUR PUBLIC HEALTH, CLEAN AIR, SAFE DRINKING WATER, AND WILDLIFE & LAND PRESERVATIONS. THROUGH WORKPLACE GIVING PROGRAM EMPLOYEES AND ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS, EMPLOYEES LEARN ABOUT AND HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO DONATE TO EARTHSHARE NC MEMBER NONPROFITS. THE CORPORATE PARTNER AND CORPORATE EARTH DAY EVENTS PROGRAMS BRINGS TOGETHER 40 BUSINESSES AND MORE THAN 800 EMPLOYEES WITH OUR NONPROFIT MEMBERS TO MAKE A COLLECTIVE IMPACT ON THE HEALTH OF OUR COMMUNITIES THROUGH A DAY OF SERVICE, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, AND NETWORKING THAT RESULT IN NEW INDIVIDUAL AND CORPORATE ENGAGEMENT IN THE WORK OF EARTHSHARE NC NONPROFITS.
THE GREEN LIVING CHALLENGE IS AN APP BASED PROGRAM THAT CHALLENGES EMPLOYEES TO ADOPT SUSTAINABLE BEHAVIORS THAT RESULT IN A REDUCTION TO CARBON GOING INTO THE ATMOSPHERE, WASTE DIVERTED FROM THE LANDFILL, AND WATER CONSERVED.
