SHELTERING GRACE MINISTRY IS A COMPREHENSIVE HOUSING PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES SHELTER, RESOURCES AND GUIDANCE TO HOMELESS EXPECTANT MOTHERS. OUR PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF THESE WOMEN BY PROMOTING A HEALTHY PREGNANCY, IMPROVED DECISION MAKING, AND PROGRESS TO INDEPENDENT LIVING. DURING HER STAY, THE MOTHER RECEIVES COUNSELING AND A CUSTOMIZED PLAN INCLUDING TRAINING IN LIFE SKILL, STRESS MANAGEMENT, PARENTING, PRENATAL CARE & CHILDBIRTH, FINANCE, CAREER BUILDING, SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT, AND HOUSEHOLD MANAGEMENT. THE GOAL IS TO BREAK THE GENERATIONAL BOND OF POVERTY AND CREATE A NEW LEGACY FOR HER CHILD.
