HEAD START AND EARLY HEAD START, FUNDED BY HHS, PROVIDED A PRESCHOOL EXPERIENCE FOR 1,212 CHILDREN OF LOW-INCOME FAMILIES IN TEN COUNTIES.


COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT, FUNDED BY DHS, PROVIDES SERVICES SUCH AS ENERGY ASSISTANCE, CHILD CARE, RENT AND HOUSING ASSISTANCE TO LOW-INCOME FAMILIES.


THE LOW-INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM PROVIDES EMERGENCY HEATING AND COOLING ASSISTANCE TO LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS.


THE AGENCY HAS OTHER PROGRAMS THAT ARE OPERATED TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE TO LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS IN THE COUNTIES SERVED. PROGRAMS PROVIDE EMERGENCY SERVICES IN THE FORM OF RENT, HOUSING, REPAIRS, UTILITIES, ETC.
