FORMED IN 1929 THE ORPHEUS MALE CHORUS OF PHOENIX'S MISSION IS TO PRESENT CHORAL MUSIC THAT ENTERTAINS AND ADDS CULTURAL VALUE TO ARIZONA COMMUNITIES BY DELIVERING QUALITY PERFORMANCES AND ENGAGING IN OUTREACH ACTIVITIES WHILE PROVIDING A REWARDING EXPERIENCE FOR MEMBERS.

PRESENT CULTURALLY DIVERSE PROGRAMS TO LIVE AUDIENCES 2,408 ATTENDEES AND TV ON-LINE AUDIENCES TENS OF THOUSANDS.


BOYS TO MEN COLLABORATIVE CONCERT WITH OTHER ADULT SINGING GROUPS AND MALE STUDENTS AND CHOIRS FROM SCHOOLS THROUGHOUT ARIZONA INTENDED TO PROMOTE LIFELONG SINGING AMONG YOUNG MALE SINGERS. THE ORPHEUS MALE CHORUS OF PHOENIX RECEIVED A $5,000 GRANT FROM THE NEELEY FOUNDATION DURING THE SPRING TO HELP PAY FOR THE BOYS TO MEN COLLABORATIVE CONCERT IN THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR.


PHOENIX CHILDREN'S CHORUS COLLABORATIVE CONCERTS DESIGNED TO BUILD AUDIENCE FOR BOTH GROUPS AND PROVIDES POSITIVE ROLE MODELS FOR STUDENTS AIMED AT LIFELONG SINGING.
