THE ORGANIZATION PROMOTES, SPONSORS AND CONDUCTS SEVERAL SPECIAL EVENTS IN YUMA, ARIZONA DURING THE YEAR. ALL OF THE EVENTS HIGHLIGHT YUMA AND THE DESERT SOUTHWEST. PROCEEDS FROM THESE EVENTS GENERATED $20,750 IN SCHOLARSHIPS TO ARIZONA COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES AND $2,800 IN DONATIONS TO YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS AND CHARITIES IN THE YUMA AREA. THE LARGEST EVENT IS "MIDNIGHT AT THE OASIS" - THE SOUTHWEST'S PREMIER CLASSIC CAR AND NOSTALGIA FESTIVAL. THIS IS A 3-DAY EVENT IN MARCH ATTRACTING OVER 900 ENTRANTS AND APPROXIMATELY 50,000 ATTENDEES. THIS EVENT WAS CANCELLED IN MARCH 2021 DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS.
