1. SEL WORKED WITH AN ESSEX CITIZEN GROUP, AND HIRED THE LAW FIRM MURPHY, HESSE, TOOMEY AND LEHANE. ATTORNEY PETER MELLO WAS DIRECTED TO WRITE A PERSONAL WIRELESS SERVICE FACILITY (PWSF) BYLAW FOR THE TOWNOF ESSEX AND UPDATE THE 24-YEAR-OLD BYLAW. ATTORNEY MELLO PRESENTED THE BYLAW TO THE PLANNING BOARD FOR REVIEW AND ATTENDED THE ANNUAL TOWN MEETING ON MAY 15, 2021. ESSEX RESIDENTS WERE SHORT SEVEN VOTES FROM PASSING THE PWSF BYLAW.2. SEL WORKED WITH ESSEX RESIDENTS, WHO ARE DIRECT ABUTTERS TO A PROPOSED CELL TOWER AT 73 EASTERN AVENUE, ESSEX MA. SEL ORGANIZED AND FACILITATED RETAINING HILL LAW WITH ATTORNEY DENNIS MURPHY REPRESENTING THE ABUTTERS.PRESENTLY, THERE ARETWO COMPLAINTS IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS.
