WE WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE TRAINING TO 62 STUDENTS DURING 31 REHEARSALS TO IMPROVE THEIR TECHNICAL SKILLS. THEY PERFORMED AT 5 CONCERTS THROUGHOUT THE WEST VALLEY OF PHOENIX. THE GROUP WERE INVITED TO PERFORM FOR THE CITY OF AVONDALE AT THEIR MEMORIAL DAY CELEBRATION. THERE WERE ALSO 2 OPPORTUNITIES FOR QUARTETS TO PERFORM. THE WVYO PRESENTED A WEEKLONG SUMMER CAMP FOR STRINGED INSTRUMENTS. 24 STUDENTS ATTENDED.
