THROUGH ITS TWELVE CONCERT CLASSICS SERIES AT AMBASSADOR AUDITORIUM, ITS MUSIC UNDER THE STARS FREE COMMUNITY CONCERT EVENT ON THE STEPS OF CITY HALL, AND ITS MORE RECENT RANDOM ACTS OF MUSIC EVENTS HELD ACROSS THE VALLEY, THE PASADENA SYMPHONY PRESENTS EXCELLENCE AND PROVIDES ACCESS FOR EVERYONE. MATINEE PERFORMANCES SERVE MORE FAMILIES AND SENIORS. MUSIC UNDER THE STARS DELIGHTS YOUNG AND OLD WITH WORLD-CLASS MUSIC FOR FREE. PASADENA YOUTH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA (PYSO) HAS CONTINUALLY OFFERED ROBUST MUSICAL TRAINING AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR YOUNG MUSICIANS THROUGHOUT THE SAN GABRIEL VALLEY FOR MORE THAN 43 YEARS. PYSO FOSTERS DEDICATION, EXCELLENCE, FELLOWSHIP, AND PASSION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THOSE WHO ARE NOT ONLY OUTSTANDING YOUNG MUSICIANS, BUT OUTSTANDING YOUNG INDIVIDUALS. 600 STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN PYSO FROM MORE THAN 80 DIFFERENT SCHOOLS THROUGHOUT LOS ANGELES COUNTY. PYSO IS COMPRISED OF 5 CHALLENGING AND RIGOROUS ENSEMBLES THAT SERVE STUDENTS IN GRADES 4-12.
