SEASON V 2020-21 HIGHLIGHTS:ORGANIZATIONAL-THE NMPHIL LAUNCHES DIGITAL INITIATIVES SUCH AS PHIL THE MUSIC, WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE, NMPHIL NOW! FEATURING PERFORMANCES AND A TALK SHOW. THE DIGITAL INITIATIVES WERE LAUNCHED DUE TO THE INABILITY TO PERFORM LIVE CONCERTS DUE TO COVID 19 PANDEMIC. -SYSTEMATIC MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP PROCESSES ARE CREATED AND DEPLOYED INTERNALLY LEADING TO HIGH PERFORMING STAFF AND BOARD.-THERE ARE NUMEROUS ARTISTIC COLLABORATIONS WITH LOCAL INSTITUTIONS INCLUDING: NEW MEXICO BALLET COMPANY, NEW MEXICO SYMPHONIC CHORUS, MANZANO DAY SCHOOL, ST. JOHN UNITED METHODIST CHOIR, CORO LUX, RIO RANCHO HIGH CHORUS, FAITH LUTHERAN CHOIR, JACKIE MCGEHEE YOUNG ARTIST COMPETITION. OUR WEEK LONG THEMED FESTIVAL INCLUDES COLLABORATION WITH ALBUQUERQUE MUSEUM, UNM HONOR'S COLLEGE, CELL, FUSION, LIAR'S GAME STORYTELLERS, GUTIERREZZ HUBBELL HOUSE, CONGREGATION NAHALAT SHALOM, AFRICAN AMERICAN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, SONGKARN, UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO NEW MUSIC ENSEMBLE, NEW MEXICO MUSEUM OF HISTORY AND SCIENCE, AND SANTA FE OPERA.-55,000+ AUDIENCE MEMBERS HEAR LIVE PERFORMANCES OF NM PHIL AND SEVERAL MORE THOUSANDS HAVE VIEWED OUR DIGITAL INITIATIVES.INTERNATIONALLY ACCLAIMED CONDUCTOR, ROBERTO MINCZUK, HIRES MULTIPLE WORLDCLASS MUSICIANS THROUGH AUDITIONS FOR EXISTING OPENINGS. -THE NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERTS CONTINUE TO BE VERY TRENDY WITH LOCAL NON-CONCERT GOING AUDIENCES. PERFORMANCES ARE OF THE HIGHEST LEVEL AND PROMOTE LOCKA TALENT FROM THE COMMUNITY THUS ENHANCING THE FEELING OF PRIDE AND WELL-BEING AMONG THE MEMBERS OF THE AUDIENCE. THERE ARE OVER 40,000 WHO HEAR THE MUSIC EDUCATION PERFORMANCES. EDUCATION-YOUNG MUSICIAN INITIATIVE BASED ON EL SISTEMA, AN IN-DEPTH MUSICLEARNING INITIATIVE. PROGRAM TAKES PLACE AT NATIONAL HISPANIC CULTURALCENTER. OVER 70 CHILDREN FROM TITLEONE SCHOOLS PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM. MEASUREMENTS TAKEN AFTER 4MONTHS SHOW SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT IN SELF-DISCIPLINE, ATTENDANCE, ANDACADEMICS.-YOUTH CONCERTS CONTINUE - 10 CONCERTS INCLUDING ONE FOR AUTISTICCHILDREN.-ENSEMBLE VISITS - CONTINUE WITH 20+ PERFORMANCES.FUNDRAISING-CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP DOLLARS FOR THE SEASON ABOVE $100,000.-$35,000 GRANT FROM MEREDITH FOUNDATION.-$84,425 GRANT FROM ALBUQUERQUE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION.-ANNUAL FUND DRIVE IN EXCESS OF $200,000.
