LIVE PERFORMANCES: TULSA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA WAS ABLE TO RETURN TO A FULL SEASON OF 7 CLASSICS SERIES, 5 CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES, AND 2 FILM WITH LIVE ORCHESTRA CONCERTS FOR LIVE, TICKETED AUDIENCES. ONE CLASSICS SERIES CONCERT WAS CANCELLED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER. THESE PERFORMANCES FULFILL THE TSO MISSION TO ENTERTAIN, EDUCATE, HEAL, AND INSPIRE THROUGH MUSICAL EXCELLENCE, INNOVATION, AND COLLABORATION.


EDUCATION OUTREACH: TULSA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA WAS ABLE TO RETURN TO LIVE CARNEGIE HALL WEILL MUSIC INSTITUTE LINK UP CONCERTS. TSO'S WEILL MUSIC INSTITUTE CARNEGIE HALL LINK UP PROGRAM SERVED OVER 15,000 STUDENTS FROM 13 GREATER TULSA AND REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS. TSO'S EDUCATION PROGRAMS ARE A VITAL SUPPLEMENT TO A WELL-ROUNDED EDUCATION FOR AREA STUDENTS, FOSTERING ACADEMIC SUCCESS, IMPROVING TEST SCORES, AND STRENGTHENING COGNITIVE ABILITIES FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF TULSANS.


COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: TULSA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA WAS ABLE TO RESUME ITS VITAL IN-PERSON COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT INITIATIVES. TSO'S HEART STRINGS PROGRAM OFFERS THE COMFORT AND HEALING POWERS OF MUSIC TO RESIDENTS, CAREGIVERS, AND STAFF AT AREA SENIOR AND ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES, HOSPITALS, AND SOUP KITCHENS. TSO PRESENTED THE INAUGURAL SERIES OF COMMUNITY FAMILY CONCERTS FOR 1,200 ATTENDEES IN DOWNTOWN TULSA. THE REJUVENATING POWERS OF MUSIC PROVIDED BY THE TSO'S COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT INITIATIVES IMPROVE MENTAL HEALTH AND UNITE THE COMMUNITY.
