DURING THIS FISCAL YEAR 510 INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES PARTICIPATED IN THE VITA VOLUNTEERS INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE PROGRAM INCLUDING 60 SELF-EMPLOYED INDIVIDUALS. NCD ALSO COLLABORATE WITH OTHER LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS AND DISTRIBUTED FOOD TO 18,515 FAMILIES.


THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED TAX PREPARATION ASSISTANCE TO 700 INDIVIDUALS/HOUSEHOLDS IN THE VITA VOLUNTEERS INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDED SERVICES TO 1570 MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY THROUGH FINANCIAL LITERACY, FOOD ENTREPRENEURSHIP WORKSHOPS, BUSINESS LOANS, HOSTED THE NOGALES FARMERS MARKET, AND SNAP PROGRAM SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.
