PROMOTE SCIENCE AND PROGRESS OF PSYCHIATRY THROUGH CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION COURSES OFFERED TO MEMBERS, OTHER MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS AND MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY. PROVIDE EDUCATION AND RELEVANT NEWS UPDATES THROUGH EMAIL AND OTHER MEDIA. ADVOCATE FOR OUR PATIENTS AND PROFESSION.
PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS FOR ALL INCOMING RESIDENTS TO PSYCHIATRY PROGRAMS AT ALL STATE UNIVERSITIES. SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES ARE OFFERED UPON SUBMISSION OF AN ESSAY CRITIQUED BY INDEPENDENT JUDGES.
