BY BRINGING BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS TOGETHER AT ITS MONTHLY LUNCHEONS, THE CHAMBER HELPED TO PROMOTE ECONOMIC PROGRAMS THAT STRENGTHEN AND EXPAND THE INCOME OF AMERICAN INDIAN BUSINESSES IN THE COMMUNITY AS WELL AS PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR NETWORKING, SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY FOR ALL NATIVE AMERICAN ENTERPRISES THROUGH EDUCATION, FELLOWSHIP AND UNITY. DURING 2021 THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC TRIGGERED RESTRICTIONS ON MEETINGS AND SOCIAL GATHERINGS MANDATED BY THE CITY OF SCOTTSDALE, THE COUNTY OF MARICOPA AND THE STATE OF ARIZONA. THE PROLONGED DURATION OF THESE RESTRICTIONS MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE CHAMBER TO STAGE ITS ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET AND ITS GOLF OUTING THIS YEAR, ACTIVITIES WHICH IN PAST YEARS THE CHAMBER HAS USED TO FURTHER ITS MISSION.
