("CLOC") IS A 501(C)(6) NONPROFIT ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONALS IN THE CORPORATE LEGAL SERVICES INDUSTRY FOCUSED ON:- PROVIDING INFORMATION AND TRAINING ON HOW TO OPTIMIZE THE OPERATION OF CORPORATE LEGAL DEPARTMENTS AND THE DELIVERY OF CORPORATE LEGAL SERVICES TO SMALL, MEDIUM AND LARGE BUSINESSES;- PROVIDING NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE IN THE CORPORATE LEGAL OPERATIONS ECOSYSTEM TO IDENTIFY WAYS TO OPTIMIZE THE OPERATION OF CORPORATE LEGAL DEPARTMENTS AND CORPORATE LEGAL SERVICES;- WORKING WITH ECOSYSTEM PARTICIPANTS, SUCH AS LAW FIRMS, LEGAL SERVICE OUTSOURCERS, TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES, GOVERNMENT REGULATORS, ETC., TO DRIVE CHANGE IN THE INDUSTRY TO CREATE AN EFFICIENT MARKET AND BETTER ACCESS TO JUSTICE.- WORKING WITH ECOSYSTEM PARTICIPANTS TO HELP THEM UNDERSTAND WHAT IS NEEDED TO CREATE OPTIMIZED SOLUTIONS FOR INDUSTRY PARTICIPANTS.CLOC IS AN ORGANIZATION LED BY HIGHLY EXPERIENCED LEGAL OPERATIONS PROFESSIONALS. ITS LEADERSHIP TEAM HOLDS DEGREES IN LAW, BUSINESS, FINANCE AND MORE AND CONSISTS OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE FULL-TIME POSITIONS (DAY JOBS) AS DIRECTORS, SENIOR DIRECTORS, AND VICE PRESIDENTS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST AND MOST HIGH-PROFILE COMPANIES IN THE WORLD, INCLUDING ORACLE, NETFLIX, INTEL, VMWARE, MICROSOFT, US DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, AND MARSH & MCLENNAN.AS OF MARCH 2022, CLOC PROVIDES NETWORKING AND EDUCATION ACCESS TO MORE THAN 4,200 FORMAL, PAYING, MEMBERS AROUND THE WORLD AT 900+ MAJOR COMPANIES, GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS, AND LAW SCHOOLS IN 47 STATES AND 57 COUNTRIES. AS AN ORGANIZATION, CLOC CREATES AND COLLECTS BEST-OF-BREED CONTENT AND CREATES OPPORTUNITIES FOR LEGAL OPS PROFESSIONALS TO GET THE KNOWLEDGE AND INFORMATION THEY NEED REAL-TIME TO EXCEL IN THEIR ROLES-TO HELP THEM OPTIMIZE THE LEGAL ORGANIZATIONS THEY SUPPORT. CLOC SUPPORTS THE PROFESSIONAL ADVANCEMENT OF INDIVIDUALS RESPONSIBLE FOR RUNNING LEGAL TEAMS LIKE A BUSINESS. CLOC ALSO HELPS TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES, LAW FIRMS, AND OTHERS IN THE CORPORATE LEGAL SERVICES INDUSTRY DEFINE BETTER BUSINESS MODELS, SERVICE OFFERINGS, AND RELATED POLICIES, PROCESSES TOOLS AND REGULATORY OVERSIGHT TO ACHIEVE OPTIMIZED SOLUTIONS AND TO CREATE AN EFFICIENT MARKET. IN 2020, DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, ONLY THE LONDON INSTITUTE WAS HELD IN PERSON IN JANUARY 2020 AND SAW 471 ATTENDEES 14 SESSIONS. THE VEGAS INSTITUTE WAS CANCELLED DUE TO THE CLOSURE OF THE BELLAGIO ANNOUNCED IN MARCH 2020 TO EXTEND THROUGH SEPTEMBER 2020. CLOC THEN DECIDED TO HOLD A FIRST EVER GLOBAL INSTITUTE IN NOVEMBER 2020 VIA VIRTUAL PLATFORM. THERE WERE OVER 1,400 ATTENDEES WITH 30 EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS AND ROUNDTABLES. THE SUCCESS OF THE VIRTUAL EVENT ALLOWED FOR A NEW EVENT PLANNING STRATEGY GOING FORWARD WHERE CLOC WILL SUPPLIMENT THE IN-PERSON INSTITUTES WITH VIRTUAL EVENTS AND WEBINARS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. IN 2021 CLOC CONTINUED THE VIRTUAL EVENT STRATEGY AND HELD ANOTHER GLOBAL VIRTUAL EVENT IN MAY AND HELD A VIRTUAL EVENT IN SEPTEMBER FOR THE EMEA AREA; THE MAY EVENT WAS ATTENDED BY OVER 1600 PROFESSIONALS OVER 35 SESSIONS BOTH LIVE AND RECORDED. THE EMEA EVENT HAD 226 ATTENDEES OVER 26 SESSIONS WHICH REMAINED ON-DEMAND FOR 90 DAYS AFTER THE EVENT. WITH THE RESTRICTIONS LIFTED NEAR THE END OF 2021, CLOC PLANS TO RETURN TO IN-PERSON EVENTS IN 2022 RETURNING TO THE BELLAGIO IN VEGAS FOR A FLAGSHIP EVENT IN MAY.
