THE SOCIETY MANAGES AND MAINTAINS 8 BUILDINGS IN HISTORIC JEROME, TWO INTERPRETIVE PARKS INCLUDING ART PARK WHERE ARTISANS DISPLAY THEIR CREATIONS. DURING 2020 THE TOWN WELCOMED OVER 1 MILLION VISITORS.
THE JEROME HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS A KEY PLAYER IN JEROME'S HISTORY. THE SOCIETY IS A REPOSITORY FOR HISTORIC PHOTOS, MINING RECORDS, AND ARTIFACTS OF GENERAL LIFE DURING JEROME'S MINING HAY HAY DAYS. THE SOCIETY CONTINUES TO COLLECT AND MAINTAIN AN ARCHIVE FOR RESEARCH PAST HISTORY AND MORE MODERN DAY HISTORY. THE SOCIETY RUNS A GIFT SHOP AND MUSEUM IN JEROME WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1953. THE VISITOR COUNT IN 2020 COMPARED TO 2019 WAS REDUCED DUE TO THE COVID-19 TRAVEL RESTRICITONS.
