IN ADDITION, AEMP MAINTAINS AND OPERATES A YOUTH CAMP IN GILA COUNTY, ARIZONA.

THE CHILDERN'S RESEARCH CENTER MAJOR PROJECTS GOAL IS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR TRANSPLANTATION RESEARCH AND EDUCATION FOR CHILDERN AND YOUNG ADULTS IN CONJUNCTION WITH UNVERSITY OF AZ CHILDERNS RESEARCH CENTER AND OTHER LOCAL YOUTH ACTIVITIES
ARIZONA ELKS YOUTH CAMP THE GOAL IS TO BENEFIT THE YOUTH OF ARIZONA THROUGH MAINTAINING AND MAKING AVAILABLE CAMP FACILITIES IN THE SIERRA ANCHA MOUNTAIN RANGE IN ARIZONA. THE CAMP IS MADE AVAILABLE TO YOUTH GROUPS DESCRIBED AS BOY SCOUTS, GIRL SCOUTS, CUB SCOUTS, BROWNIES, EXPLORERS, CAMP FIRE GIRLS, 4-H, CASA, CHURCH GROUPS AND OTHER SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS. THE CAMP IS ALSO AVAILABLE FOR FAMILY REUNIONS.
COMMUNITY IMPACT GRANTS ARE REWARDED IN $1,000 GRANTS TO VARIOUS ARIZONA ELK LODGES. THESE GRANTS BENEFIT YOUTH PROGRAMS. RECIPIENTS ARE 501 ( C ) 3 ORGANIZATIONS WHO DO NOT RECEIVE GOVERNMENTAL FUNDING OR FUNDING FROM THE UNITED WAY.
