TO ASSIST CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN SEVERLY BURNED WHILE EDUCATING COMMUNITIES IN CA & ACROSS THE GLOBE ON HOW TO PREVENT AND TREAT BURNS.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

THE FULL RECOVERY PROGRAM PROVIDES LIFE-TRANSFORMING TREATMENT AND TRANSPORTATION. THE PROGRAM ALSO INCLUDES AN ARRAY OF PSYCHOSOCIAL INITIATIVES INCLUDING SUPPORT GROUPS, CAMPS AND A TEEN BURN SURVIVOR'S PROGRAM. DURING THE YEAR, THERE WERE A TOTAL OF 3,905 INDIVIDUALS SERVED IN THE FULL RECOVERY PROGRAM.


OUR BURN PREVENTION AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL PRESENTATIONS TO CHILDREN, PARENTS, CAREGIVERS AND TEACHERS IN AN EFFORT TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF BURN RELATED INJURIES. DURING THE YEAR, THERE WERE A TOTAL OF 130,338 INDIVIDUALS SERVED IN EDUCATION PROGRAMS.
