EQUITY IN EDUCATION ("EIE") SUPPORTED CANDIDATES RUNNING FOR STATEWIDE OFFICE TO REPRESENT EDUCATION PRIORITIES AT THE STATE LEVEL.THE EQUITY IN EDUCATION (EIE) CANDIDATE TRAINING FELLOWSHIP IS DESIGNED TO INVEST IN ATLANTA'S EMERGING LEADERS BY HELPING THEM DEVELOP THE MECHANICS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO RUN, STAFF AND RESOURCE A WINNING CAMPAIGN FOR THE APS BOARD OF EDUCATION. THIS COHORT-BASED EXPERIENCE INSPIRES AND EMPOWERS FELLOWS TO LAUNCH THEIR CAMPAIGNS WITH EIE HELPING THEM EVERY STEP OF THE WAYAND EVEN BEYOND THEIR ELECTION.WE USE DATA AND COMMUNITY INPUT TO DEMAND BOLD POLICIES THAT HELP CLOSE THE OPPORTUNITY GAP IN ATLANTA BY PRIORITIZING EQUITY IN ALL CLASSROOMS ACROSS THE DISTRICT.TOGETHER, WE IDENTIFY THE CHALLENGES, BRAINSTORM SOLUTIONS, PULL OUR RESOURCES TOGETHER AND CREATE CHANGE. WE HELP THE VILLAGE BE INFORMED CITIZENS AND VOTERS.
