THE ORGANIZATION CARRIED OUT THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES DURING THE YEAR: THE SFQ PROJECT PROVIDED UNRESTRICTED CASH GRANTS TWICE PER YEAR TO EARLY CARE AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS WITH A 4 OR 5 STAR RATING TO HELP THEM MAINTAIN HIGH QUALITY PROGRAMMING OR FURTHER IMPROVE THEIR PROGRAMMING. AS PART OF OUR CHILD CARE RESOURCE AND REFERRAL SERVICES, A TEAM OF EARLY CHILDHOOD QUALITY ENHANCEMENT SPECIALISTS PROVIDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND/OR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TO EDUCATORS IN EARLY CARE EDUCATION. A TEAM OF CHILD CARE CONSULTANTS PROVIDED SUPPORT TO CHILDREN WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYS, CHALLENGING SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL BEHAVIORS AND/OR SPECIAL NEEDS ENROLLED IN EARLY CARE AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS.
