VOTER ENGAGEMENT - PODER NC ACTION'S VOTER ENGAGEMENT WORK INVOLVES EDUCATING OUR COMMUNITIES ON THE CIVIC PROCESS AND ENCOURAGING THEIR PARTICIPATION. WE ENGAGE IN DIRECT AND DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS WITH VOTERS USING CULTURALLY RESONANT MDSSAGING. ANY AND ALL PROGRAM EXPENSES IN THESE CLASSES ARE IN SERVICE OF INCREASING LATINX VOTER PARTICIPATION.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT - IN AN EFFORT TO PROVIDE A POLITICAL HOME TO LATINX YOUNG PEOPLE AND OTHER MARGINALIZED COMMUNITIES, PODER NC ACTION ENGAGES OUR BASE IN ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIAL CONNECTION, IN SERVICE OF STRENGTHENING OUR COMMUNITIES AND BUILDING POLITICAL POWER.
OTHER PROGRAMS -OUR OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDE COMMUNICATIONS (ENGAGING OUR BASE THROUGH VARIOUS MEDIA PLATFORMS), LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT FOR WOMEN OF COLOR IN EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP, AND SUPPORTING THE FORMATION OF CASA AZUL AS AN ORGANIZATION IN SERVICE OF WILSON COUNTY'S LATINX COMMUNITY.
