NAKASEC ACTION FUND ELECTORAL PROGRAM GOALS FOCUSED ON DEVELOPING AND EXECUTING A VOTER ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM THAT REACHED OUT TO 23,000 ASIAN VOTERS IN A CULTURALLY AND LINGUISTICALLY COMPETENT MANNER OVER A FIVE-WEEK PERIOD FOCUSED ON THE GENERAL ELECTION IN PENNSYLVANIA. THE ORGANIZATION TARGETED A UNIVERSE OF 5,788 KOREAN AMERICAN VOTERS STATEWIDE AND 17,225 YOUNG ASIAN AMERICANS 18-35 YEARS OLD. ADDITIONALLY, IN VIRGINIA, NAKASEC ACTION FUND MADE 4,293 VOTER OUTREACH ATTEMPTS TO 3,232 UNIQUE VOTERS. VOTER OUTREACH ATTEMPTS INCLUDE CALLS, TEXTS, LIT DROPS, AND MAIL. NAKASEC ACTION FUND SUCCESSFULLY CONTACTED 93 VOTERS, 50 OF WHICH WERE CANVASSED, REPRESENTING A 6.3% CONTACT RATE AND 3.4% CANVASSED RATE.
