NORTH CAROLINA ASIAN AMERICANS TOGETHER (NCAAT) IS A NONPARTISAN, NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION FOCUSED ON BRINGING TOGETHER THE AAPI COMMUNITY IN NORTH CAROLINA THROUGH CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND POLITICAL PARTICIPATION.

VOTER ENGAGEMENT: THE VOTER ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM HAS REGULARLY CONDUCTED GET OUT THE VOTE INITIATIVES, REGISTERED 742 VOTERS, AND REACHED OVER 7,500 PEOPLE AT GOTV AND EARLY VOTING PARTIES. NCAAT OUTREACH WAS CONDUCTED BOTH IN ENGLISH AND IN-LANGUAGE AND INCLUDED REACHING MORE THAN 19,582 ASIAN AMERICANS THROUGH PHONEBANKS AND 292,545 THROUGH SMS. YOUTH ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM: THE YE PROGRAM HAS FOSTERED CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND POLITICAL PARTICIPATION THROUGH ONE-DAY WORKSHOPS AND MULTI-DAY SUMMER LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS AS WELL AS PAID INTERNSHIPS, AMBASSADOR POSITIONS, AND FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITIES. NCAAT HAS ALSO ESTABLISHED A NETWORK OF COLLEGE AND HIGH SCHOOL ORGANIZATIONS WITH STUDENTS WHO CARRY OUT VOTER REGISTRATION INITIATIVES AT THEIR SCHOOLS. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM: THE CE PROGRAM HAS HELD SPACES FOR COMMUNITY GATHERINGS, LEGAL REVIEW IN CITIZENSHIP CLINICS, AND EDUCATIONAL EVENTS. NCAAT HAS ALSO WORKED WITH LOCAL CULTURAL AND COMMUNITY GROUPS TO ENGAGE THEIR MEMBERS ON VOTER REGISTRATION DRIVES, VOTER EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS, AND INFORMATIONAL FORUMS.
