LEADERSHIP (INCLUDES ADVOCACY): MONTHLY LEADERSHIP MEETINGS WERE HELD TO DEVELOP EDUCATIONAL POLICY IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION. NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION RECERTIFICATION CERTIFICATES WERE ISSUED THROUGH THE SUPERINTENDENT LEADERSHIP NETWORK FOR UP TO 6 HOURS.
TRAINING/PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (INCLUDES ADVOCACY): SUPERINTENDENTS AND THEIR EXECUTIVE STAFF ATTENDED THE JANUARY 17TH AND 18TH SUPERINTENDENT ACADEMY. SUPERINTENDENTS ATTENDED THE NV ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL BOARD CONFERENCE NOVEMBER 21 & 22, 2019. SUPERINTENDENTS ATTENDED THE ASSA-THE SUPERINTENDENTS ASSOCIATION OF NATIONAL CONFERENCE FEBRUARY 14-16, 2019. PLANNING FOR THE JANUARY 2020 CONFERENCE TOOK PLACE; SPEAKER CONTRACTS WERE SECURED; CONFERENCE LOCATION AND ACCOMMODATION CONTRACTS WERE COMPLETED; CONFERENCE MATERIALS WERE ORDERED AND CONFERENCE COMMUNICATION WAS DEVELOPED SUCH AS THE NASS WEBSITE, SESSION MATERIALS AND THE CONFERENCE PROGRAM.
