IN 2022 WE WERE ABLE TO ORGANIZE "IMPACT STATE OF MIND," A CONFERENCE DURING GLOBAL GOALS WEEK THAT AIMED TO CONNECT AND ADVANCE THE WORK OF IMPACTFUL INNOVATORS. THE CONFERENCE WAS FREE TO THE PUBLIC AND FEATURED SESSIONS FOCUSED ON SKILL DEVELOPMENT, SOCIAL TOPICS, NETWORKING, AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR FROM INSPIRING LEADERS. WE WERE ALSO ABLE TO HOST "CULINARY ACTION, ON THE ROAD!" A PITCH PROGRAM AND EVENT FOR IMPACTFUL ENTREPRENEURS IN THE FOOD INNOVATION SPACE. THE PROGRAM INCLUDED SOURCING LEADING ENTREPRENEURS, PANEL DISCUSSIONS AROUND THE FUTURE OF SUSTAINABLE FOOD, AND PITCHES FROM ENTREPRENEURS.WE ORGANIZED "BUILDING AN AFRICAN INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM IN NEW YORK," A FORUM FOR INNOVATORS BOTH LOCALLY FROM THE AFRICAN DIASPORA AND FROM AFRICA - WITH THE GOAL OF CATALYZING COLLABORATIONS AND RELATIONSHIPS FOR ADVANCING SOCIAL IMPACT AND DEVELOPMENT HERE AND ABROAD.WE ORGANIZED GHANA X INNOVATION, AN INNOVATION TOUR TO WEST AFRICA FOR STAKEHOLDERS FROM THE NY METRO AREA, INTERESTED IN LEARNING ABOUT OPPORTUNITIES TO SCALE THEIR IMPACT TO WEST AFRICA AND EXCHANGE WITH THE WEST AFRICAN SOCIAL INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM.WE ALSO LAUNCHED OUR FIRST COMMUNITY AND PROJECT SPACE IN MORRISTOWN, NJ - WITH THE GOAL TO BUILD AND SUPPORT LOCAL INNOVATORS OF ALL BACKGROUNDS ALIGNED WITH 2030 SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS AND INTERESTED IN ALSO TAKING ACTION ON CLIMATE CHANGE. WE HOSTED A SOFT LAUNCH EVENT, AND BEGAN ENGAGING VARIOUS ENTREPRENEURS WITHIN THE SPACE.WE ALSO CO-ORGANIZED A PROGRAM, "SUSTAINABLE CITIES LAB" THAT SUPPORTED ENTREPRENEURS FROM THE US AND SWITZERLAND WITH SOLUTIONS TO DECARBONIZE BUILDINGS AND MOBILITY.
