UAEYC PROVIDED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TO OVER 1,500 OF UTAH'S EARLY CHILDHOOD WORKFORCE, 7,500 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING HOURS THROUGH OUR ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN MARCH 2023. WE HELPED 52 EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROFESSIONALS - BOTH CAREGIVERS/TEACHERS AND THEIR DIRECTORS - INCREASE THEIR EDUCATION THROUGH COMPLETING OVER 398 COLLEGE CREDITS AT LOCAL INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION. WE ARE ACTIVE ON MANY STATE AND COMMUNITY BOARDS AND COMMITTEES, ADVOCATING FOR BEST PRACTICES IN THE FIELD, AND ADVOCATING FOR INCREASED SUPPORT OF ECE PROFESSIONALS IN GENERAL.
