SINCE 1976, OVER 6,500 WOMEN IN FACULTY, STAFF, AND ADMINISTRATIVE ROLES IN HIGHER EDUCATION HAVE FURTHER DEVELOPED THEIR LEADERSHIP SKILLS, ABILITY, AND IDENTITY BY ATTENDING ONE OF SEVERAL PROGRAM OFFERINGS, INCLUDING THE SIGNATURE HERS LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE. AS THE ONLY ORGANIZATION COMMITTED EXCLUSIVELY TO NARROWING THE GENDER GAP IN HIGHER EDUCATION LEADERSHIP, HERS SUPPORTS THE ADVANCEMENT OF WOMEN FROM THE START OF THEIR CAREER ALL THE WAY THROUGH TO THEIR TRANSITION INTO RETIREMENT. HERS PROGRAM OFFERINGS BENEFIT WOMEN FROM THEIR EARLY CAREER STAGE TO LATE CAREER. PROGRAM OFFERINGS ADDRESS TOPICS OF BENEFIT TO EMERGING LEADERS, TRANSFORM PARTICIPANTS INTO BOLD AND EFFECTIVE LEADERS, AND ADD CAREER CLARITY AND INTENTIONALITY TOWARD MOVING INTO SENIOR LEADERSHIP ROLES. THE HEART OF HERS PROGRAM OFFERINGS IS THE HERS LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE. THE HERS LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE IS A TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR WOMEN IN HIGHER EDUCATION, FOUNDED TO FILL LEADERSHIP PIPELINES ACROSS THE UNITED STATES WITH DYNAMIC WOMEN, EACH CAPABLE OF USHERING THEIR RESPECTIVE INSTITUTIONS INTO A MORE INCLUSIVE AND EQUITABLE FUTURE.PARTICIPANTS ARE ASKED TO SHARE THEIR VISION OF LEADERSHIP AND WHAT THEY HOPE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THEIR RESPECTIVE INSTITUTIONS AND ARE THEN CHALLENGED TO DEVELOP THE SKILLS TO ACTUALIZE THEIR PROFESSIONAL VISION. AS A NON-COMPETITIVE SPACE, PARTICIPANTS ARE ALSO ENCOURAGED TO CHAMPION THE GROWTH OF OTHER PARTICIPANTS.
