ASTMJS AND HER SISTER SOCIETY ESTMJS (EUROPEAN SOCIETY OF TMJ SURGEONS) HOLD A JOINT MEETING EVERY THREE YEARS. ASTMJS ANNUAL MEETING FEB 29-MARCH 2ND WAS THE JOINT MEETING HELD IN THE UNITED STATES. THIS PARTICULAR MEETING FOCUSED ON TMJ HORIZONS: UNRAVELING THE MYSTERIES OF CONDYLAR GROWTH, RESORPTION AND REGENERATION. SIX DOCTORS FROM EACH SOCIETY PRESENTED ON THAT TOPIC. OTHER PRESENTERS PREPARED EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS WHICH FOCUSED ON RESEARCH AND PATIENT SERVICES CONCERNING ORTHOPEDIC DISEASE OF THE TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT. A BUSINESS MEETING IS ALSO HELD. EIGHTY MEMBERS AND 20 GUESTS ATTENDED THIS HYBRID MEETING. NINE SPONSORS WITH TWENTY-FOUR ATTENDEES TOOK PART IN TABLETOP DISPLAYS TO PROMOTE NEW PRODUCTS AND SERVICES PERTINENT TO THE PRACTICE.
