LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY: ON AN ANNUAL BASIS, WISCONSIN BANKERS ASSOCIATION MONITORS THOUSANDS OF LEGISLATIVE PROPOSALS, HUNDREDS OF ADMINISTRATIVE RULES AND ADVOCATES FOR MEMBER INTERESTS AT BOTH THE STATE AND FEDERAL LEVEL. THESE EFFORTS INCREASE THE COMPETITIVE CAPABILITIES OF WISCONSIN FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS.
EDUCATION: WISCONSIN BANKERS ASSOCIATION CONTINUES TO SET THE STANDARD FOR PROVIDING TIMELY, HIGH QUALITY EDUCATION SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR OUR MEMBERSHIP. OUR PROGRAMS LEVERAGE THE TALENTS OF EXPERTS IN THE FIELD OF BANKING AND FOCUS ON HOT LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY TRENDS FOR THE ECONOMIC AND BUSINESS CLIMATE IN OUR STATE. THE MOST NOTABLE RESOURCE IS OUR LEGAL CALL PROGRAM WHERE THE ORGANIZATION RESPONDS TO GENERAL COMPLIANCE INQUIRIES FROM MEMBERS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PUBLISHES THE MONTHLY WBA COMPLIANCE JOURNAL AND THE COMPLIANCE Q&A COLUMN MONTHLY FOR WISCONSIN BANKER.
