MICHIGAN MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY CENTER WEST: STRIVES TO ASSIST MANUFACTURERS TO IMPROVE THEIR PERFORMANCE, EFFICIENCY AND PRODUCTIVITY. CONSULTING, USER GROUPS, WORKSHOPS AND CONFERENCES CONDUCTED BY MICHIGAN MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY CENTER - WEST FOCUS ON INDUSTRY 4.0, MARKET DIVERSIFICATION, LEAN MANUFACTURING PRACTICES, TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES, ISO/QS9000 CERTIFICATION AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PROCESSES.
APPROVED BY THE MICHIGAN STRATEGIC FUND ON JANUARY 14, 2021, THE MICHIGAN SMALL BUSINESS SURVIVAL GRANT PROGRAM ALLOCATED $55 MILLION TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO MICHIGAN SMALL BUSINESSES THAT WERE DISPROPORTIONATELY IMPACTED BY THE COVID-19 VIRUS AND THE GATHERINGS AND MASK ORDER. TALENT INITIATIVES - PROMOTES WEST MICHIGAN AS A PLACE WHERE BUSINESS THRIVES AND PEOPLE WANT TO LIVE AND WORK. TALENT INITIATIVES SEEKS TO INCREASE THE RATE OF SUCESS MEMBER COMPANIES HAVE IN THEIR EFFORTS TO RECRUIT TOP TALENT.
