EDUCATION & PUBLIC RELATIONS PROGRAM TO KEEP THE PUBLIC AWARE OF AND EDUCATED AS TO THE RECLAMATION, MINING, AND ENERGY CONVERSION PROCESS OF LIGNITE RESOURCES, INCLUDING TEACHERS' SEMINARS AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL EVENTS.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM THAT PROMOTES ECONOMIC, EFFICIENT, AND CLEAN USES OF LIGNITE AND LIGNITE BY-PRODUCTS. ENTERED INTO A CONTRACT WITH ENERGY & ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH CENTER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA TO PROVIDE A STUDY ON THE NEXT GENERATION OF LIGNITE POWER PLANTS.
