THE SOCIETY BELIEVES IT IS THE UTMOST RESOURCE FOR LOCAL HISTORY AND, AS PART OF ITS MISSION, THE SOCIETY OPERATES THE ANIMAS MUSEUM WHICH IS THE ONLY MUSEUM DEDICATED TO THE HISTORY OF THE ENTIRE COUNTY. ALTHOUGH THE MUSEUM WAS CLOSED DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC FOR MOST OF 2020, THE SOCIETY CONTINUED TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY INCLUDING EXHIBITS AND EVENTS ONLINE AT THEIR WEBSITE ANIMASMUSUEUM.ORG.
