CLOUD RIDGE NATURALISTS AND CLOUD RIDGE PUBLISHING PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES IN THE NATURAL SCIENCES AND SUPPORT A BOOK PUBLISHING PROGRAM FOCUSED ON GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE AND CONSERVATION ISSUES. WE UNDERWRITE AND PUBLISH BOOKS ON OUR OWN AND IN COOPERATION WITH MAINSTREAM PUBLISHING HOUSES, DONATING ALL ROYALTIES FOR BOOKS PUBLISHED IN COOPERATION WITH SASQUATCH BOOKS/RANDOM HOUSE.

ISBN: 978-1-63217-134-4 (LIBRARY OF CONGRESS); NAUTILUS SILVER AWARD WINNER IN ENVIRONMENTAL NONFICTION. THE BOOK LAUNCH WAS HELD IN SEATTLE WITH PRESENTATIONS AT TOWN HALL AND THE BURKE MUSEUM IN FEBRUARY 2020. THE COVID-19 SHUTDOWN RESULTED IN THE CANCELLATION OF ALL BOOK PROMOTIONAL TOURS AND ALL IN-PERSON BOOKSTORE SALES VENUES. THIS SITUATION CONTINUED IN 2021 AND WAS REFLECTED IN POOR SALES BOTH IN STORES AND ONLINE. NO ROYALTIES ARE PAYABLE FROM SASQUATCH BOOKS/RANDOM HOUSE UNTIL THE TOTAL ADVANCE AGAINST ROYALITIES PAYMENT OF $20,000 HAS BEEN REALIZED BY INCOME FOR BOOKS SOLD.
