OUR MISSION IS FOR EDUCATIONAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION TO FOCUS ON BUILDING THE HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY OF COMMUNITIES, ESPECIALLY PEOPLE OF COLOR AND LOW INCOME RESIDENTS IN VIRGINIA OVERBURDENED BY POLLUTION.

FUNDS WERE USED TO CONTINUE AND TO ENHANCE ACTIVITIES FOR THE 1ST VIRGINIA'S CREATED SOLAR POWERED COMMUNITY RESILIENCY HUB IN PETERSBURG, VA 23803. FUND WERE ALSO USED TO SPEARHEAD THE GREENLING PETERSBURG PROJECT WHICH WILL ESTABLISH EV CHARGING STATIONS IN PETERSBURG TO INCREASE ELECTRIC MOBILITY. WE HELD SEVERAL COMMUNITY SESSIONS TO INCREASE AWARENESS AND ADVOCACY FOR EQUITY IN ELECTRIC MOBILITY. THUS FAR, AN ADDITIONAL 500 INDIVIDUALS HAVE BENEFITTED
FUNDS WERE USED TO SUPPORT THE CREATION PETERSBURG COMMUNITY RESILIENCY HUB; ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND PURCHASE MATERIALS TO COMPLEMENT ROOFTOP SOLAR INSTALLATION AND ELECTRIFICATION OF THE HUB BUILDING.
FUNDS WERE USED TO SUPPORT THE PETERSBURG RESILIENCY HUB AND THE ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES INCLUDING SPONSORSHIP OF THE COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD, PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT, STAFF AND ASSISTANCE WITH CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS.
