TRADE SKILLS TRAINING ROOTED IN HAWAIIAN CULTURAL VALUES. KAPILI LIKE PROVIDES EVALUATION, SUPPORT, TRAINING AND SOCIAL RESOURCES FOR EACH PARTICIPANT BASED ON THEIR LEVEL OF NEED, AND ROOTED IN THESE FOUNDATIONAL HAWAIIAN CULTURAL VALUES: PILINA, MALAMA, KULEANA, KUPONO. IT IS ALSO THROUGH THE CRUCIAL SUPPORT OF OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS THAT OUR PROGRAM PROVIDES NO-COST EDUCATION AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT THROUGH TRADE CERTIFICATIONS, AND ACADEMY TRAINING FOR NATIVE HAWAIIAN PEOPLE AND OTHER COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO NEED A HAND UP, OR WHO HAVE BEEN DISPLACED OR ARE IN TRANSITION. OUR APPROACH OF NO-COST PROGRAMS THAT SUPPORT PARTICIPANTS ACCORDING TO THEIR UNIQUE NEEDS HAS CREATED A LONG-TERM SUCCESSFUL IMPACT IN SUPPORT OF OUR MISSION.
