CASA OF ROCK COUNTY INC. ADVOCATES FOR THE BEST INTEREST OF ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN WITHIN THE COURT SYSTEM. BASED ON THE BELIEF THAT EVERY CHILD IS ENTITLED TO A SAFE AND PERMANENT HOME, CASA OF ROCK COUNTY WORKS IN THE COURT SYSTEM THROUGH TRAINED VOLUNTEERS IN COLLABORATION WITH KEY AGENCIES, LEGAL COUNSEL AND COMMUNITY RESOURCES TO SERVE AS THE CHILD'S ADVOCATE AND REPRESENT THE CHILD INVOLVED IN CHILD IN NEED OF PROTECTION AND/OR SERVICES (CHIPS) CASES.

THROUGHOUT 2021, CASA'S PROFESSIONAL STAFF, CONSISTING OF 5.5 EMPLOYEES, SUPERVISED 54 VOLUNTEERS WHO ADVOCATED FOR THE NEEDS OF 110 CHILDREN DEVOTING 3,267 HOURS OF SERVICE TO THE CHILDREN SERVED. CASA STAFF PROVIDED 3 PRE-SERVICE TRAININGS AND SEVERAL VIRTUAL AND IN PERSON CONTINUING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE VOLUNTEER ADVOCATES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. FIFTEEN NEW VOLUNTEERS WERE SWORN IN.
