THE SHOP TO HOUSE EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES WAS PARTIALLY CONSTRUCTED BY YEAR-END AND DESIGN WORK ON A DEQ APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM WAS CLOSE TO COMPLETION. SLASH PILES WERE BURNED TO RID THE AREA OF COMBUSTIBLE FUELS DURING THE HOT DRY SEASON TO REDUCE THE RISK OF A MAJOR FOREST FIRST IN CASE OF LIGHTNING STRIKES AND TO HELP WITH THE OVERALL FOREST HEALTH.
