HOBACK VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION PROVIDES FUNDS TO PURCHASE FIRE SUPPRESSION, EMERGENCY TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT. FIRE AND INJURY PREVENTION AND EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES ARE PROVIDED TO ENCOURAGE RECRUITMENT, RETENTION, TRAINING AND BENEFITS NOT OFFERED BY TETON COUNTY TO OUR MEMBERS. THERE WERE 63 FIRE/RESCUE/MEDICAL CALL-OUTS FOR 2022. THERE ARE 6 MEMBERS, THE MAJORITY ATTENDED 4 ASSOCIATION MEETINGS AND 11 CREW CHECKS, 42 COUNTY WIDE TRAININGS, AND 4 OFFICERS ATTENDED 7 SEPARATE OFFICERS MEETINGS. 124 HOURS WERE SPENT BY VARIOUS MEMBERS FOR ONLINE TRAINING AND ASSOCIATION BUSINESS. THE ASSOCIATION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY EQUIPMENT/TRAINING PURCHASES OVER AND ABOVE THE TETON COUNTY GOVERNMENT BUDGET.
