THE UNION WAS MERGERED INTO AN AFFILIATE ORGANIZATION. PRIOR TO THE MERGER, THE OBJECTIVES AND AIMS OF THE UNION WAS THE DEVELOPMENT OF A HIGHER DEGREE OF SKILL AND EFFICIENCY, THE MAINTENANCE OF DISCIPLINE, CAREFUL OBSERVANCE OF THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, THE CULTIVATION OF A CLOSER DEGREE OF FRIENDSHIP AND FELLOWSHIP AMONG ITS MEMBERS IN ORDER TO SECURE FOR THE MEMBERSHIP THE INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL, AND ECONOMIC PRIVILEGES THAT ARE DUE TO ALL PERSONS. THE UNION FIGHTS TO ADVANCE AND PROTECT WAGES, HOURS, WORKING CONDITIONS AND THE QUALITY OF FIRE RESCUE SERVICES PROVEDED TO THE CITIZENS OF LITTLETON AND THE SURROUNDING DISTRICTS THAT ARE SERVED.

THE EXEMPT PURPOSE OF THE UNION WAS ACHIEVED THROUGH DUES PAID TO THEIR AFFILIATES SUCH AS IAFF, CPFF AND AFL-CIO FOR COLLECTIVE BARGAINING ON BEHALF OF ITS MEMBERS.


THE EMEMPT PURPOSE OF THE UNION WAS ACHIEVED BY HOLDING VARIOUS SOCIAL FUNCTIONS FOR THE MEMBERS AND UNION MEETINGS AND CONFERENCES.
