FIRE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE THE PREEMINENT MULTI-DAY ANNUAL FIRE SERVICE EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE PROVIDED BY THE COLORADO STATE FIRE CHIEFS FOR THE ENTIRE COLORADO FIRE SERVICE. EDUCATION IS PROVIDED FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE FIRE SERVICE...CAREER, COMBINATION, VOLUNTEER, FIREFIGHTER THROUGH CHIEF FIRE OFFICER.


LEGISLATIVE EDUCATION A KEY OUTREACH EFFORT TO EXPLAIN THE MULTITUDE OF MISSIONS & COMPLEXITIES OF COLORADO'S FIRE SERVICE TO THE PUBLIC AND MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY. FOCUS IS ON PROVIDING INFORMATION AND EDUCATION TO ALLOW THE PUBLIC AND MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY THE OPPORTUNITY TO UNDERSTAND THE ACCELERATING COSTS FOR OPERATING FIRE DEPARTMENTS, APPARATUS, EQUIPMENT AND PERSONNEL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT ALONG AND THE IMPACT OF CONTINUAL REDUCTIONS IN THE PRIMARY SOURCE OF FUNDING FOR THE MAJORITY OF COLORADO'S FIRE DEPARTMENTS.
