TO PROVIDE PEOPLE IN THE CITY OF OZARK AND DALE COUNTY, ALABAMA FREE ACCESS TO A VARIETY OF THOUGHTS AND IDEAS. THE LIBRARY SUBSCRIBES TO THE BELIEF THAT EDUCATION IS A LIFELONG PROCESS AND IT IS ITS RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE BOOKS, MATERIALS, AND OTHER RESOURCES TO PEOPLE OF ALL AGES ENGAGED IN THE PURSUIT OF KNOWLEDGE. IT IS ALSO THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE LIBRARY TO ENCOURAGE INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS TO USE THEIR LEISURE TIME IN THE ENJOYMENT OF READING. THE LIBRARY WILL PROVIDE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC BOTH PHYSICAL AND ELECTRONIC COPIES OF BOOKS, NEWSPAPERS, MAGAZINES, AND OTHER READING MATERIALS ALONG WITH COMPUTER EQUIPMENT FEATURING INTERNET ACCESS IN A STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY.
