UNION UNIVERSITY IS A PRIVATE, CHRISTIAN, FOUR-YEAR, COEDUCATIONAL, LIBERAL ARTS-BASED UNIVERSITY OFFERING BACHELOR'S, MASTER'S AND DOCTORAL DEGREES. FOUNDED IN 1823, UNION IS THE OLDEST INSTITUTION AFFILIATED WITH THE SOUTHERN BAPTIST CONVENTION. LOCATED IN JACKSON, TENNESSEE, UNION ALSO HAS EXTENSION CAMPUSES IN GERMANTOWN, MEMPHIS, AND HENDERSONVILLE, TENNESSEE. THE STUDENT BODY IS MADE UP OF 3,100 STUDENTS FROM 46 STATES AND 18 COUNTRIES.
