THE FOUNDATION FOR PHILIPPINE PROGRESS INC. IS DEDICATED TO EMPOWER AND ENGAGE COMMUNITIES IN PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS FOR THE PHILIPPINES TO SECURE QUALITY HEALTH EDUCATION AND BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS FOR EVERY FILIPINO.

OREGON HEALTH AUTHORITY - PUBLIC HEALTH DIVISION GRANT FOR SEVERAL COMMUNITY HEALTH PROGRAM ELEMENTS DIRECTED TOWARDS PROVIDING CULTURALLY RESPONSIVE AND APPROPRIATE SERVICES FOR MEMBERS OF THE FILIPINO COMMUNITY THROUGH THE FILIPINO BAYANIHAN CENTER. THE FOUNDATION FOR PHILIPPINE PROGRESS INC. SERVED AS FISCAL SPONSOR FOR THIS GRANT.


FUNDS DISTRIBUTED TO SEVERAL COMMUNITY-BASED PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS IN THE PHILIPPINES AND IN THE US TO PROVIDE ON-THE-GROUND RELIEF SUPPORT AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. SUPPORT PROVIDED FOR EXTREME FLOODING IN EASTERN VISAYAS FIRE RELIEF IN ILOILO CITY MAYON VOLCANO EVACUEE SUPPORT AND SUPPORT FOR LAHAINA MAUI FIRE VICTIMS. FUNDS WERE ALSO USED TO PURCHASE THREE BOATS FOR FISHERFOLK COMMUNITIES IN EASTERN VISAYAS AS WELL AS TO SUPPORT COMMUNITY HEALTH TRAININGS AND MEDICAL MISSIONS.


FUNDS USED FOR THE PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR INCLUDING FILIPINO EATS WEEK AKLATAN BOOK SERIES WIKANG KAYUMANGGI LANGUAGE PROGRAM 2023 FILIPINO AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATION EVENTS AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL PRESENTATIONS ON FILIPINO AND FILIPINO AMERICAN TOPICS OF SIGNIFICANCE.
