SUPPORT AND PROMOTE THE LEADERSHIP OF INDIGENOUS WOMEN IN THE ONGOING REGENERATION OF INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE NORTHWEST REGION OF TURTLE ISLAND FROM THE ARCTIC TO THE ROCKIES.

GRANTMAKING: NA'AH ILLAHEE FUND AWARDED 157 GRANTS TO THE NATIVE COMMUNITY THROUGH OUR FOOD SOVEREIGNTY, RIGHTS OF NATURE, RISING STAR SCHOLARSHIP, POWER OF CEREMONY, RED BLANKET, AND MMIWP GRANTMAKING FUND.


OTHER NATIVE COMMUNITY AND CULTURAL SUPPORT: YA-HOWT, COMMUNITY PROJECTS, AND BLUE JAY EVENT.


FISCAL SPONSORSHIP: NA'AH ILLAHEE FUND SUPPORTED NATIVE-LED, MISSION-ALIGNED ORGANIZATIONS AS A FISCAL AGENT FOR GRANTS AND OTHER DONATIONS. THIS PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDED ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT AND MENTORSHIP TO THESE GROWING, GRASSROOT ORGANIZATIONS WHO ARE WORKING TOWARDS THEIR OWN 501C3 STATUS.


WISE ACTION: THE CIVIC ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM, WISE ACTION, PROVIDED NATIVE YOUTH AND ADULTS WITH PATHWAYS TOWARDS CREATING SYSTEMIC CHANGE IN THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES BY SERVING ON DECISION-MAKING BODIES, AND PARTICIPATING IN COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT EFFORTS.
